It has for many years been a bit of a poisoned chalice to be a Spurs fan. You’ve been able to gaze in wonder at the artistry of Hoddle, Waddle, Gascoigne, Keane, Berbatov and Klinsmann… while shaking your head at the mercurial managerial miscues of Francis, Ardiles, Gross and Graham.

One man who has suffered the slings and arrows of Spurs fandom over the last 4 decades has been Ireland’s greatest living comedian David O’Doherty, and as we start our Champions League final build-up in earnest, he joins us in studio to talk about Vinny Samways, Hummel jerseys, and the UEFA Cup final of 1984.

He also has time to pass judgement on Frances Murphy’s new bike, we salute Patsy Kensit, Bruce Forsyth and Bobby Davro, and there’s a guide to the sport on tv this weekend.
