If you’ve been following Brian Murphy on twitter over the last couple of weeks, you’ll have realised that he’s been very, VERY excited about his alma mater UCLA’s run through March Madness.

Now that’s one part of the American sports culture that has largely eluded us, but now’s as good a time as any for a reminder of what makes it great – and there’s the not insignificant matter of the US Masters this week as well, so we have Brian’s neighbour (and golfing maven, author, and journalist) Lawrence Donegan on the line too to discuss Bryson the circus act Rory to win and old man Westwood.

We discuss Erling Haaland’s big night in Manchester – and can he do enough to impress Pep? Plus there’s Ramos’ revenge, college fight songs, and the boys of Westwood.
