On Monday night, before a huge Television audience, Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest on the field during the first quarter of his team’s encounter with the Cincinnati Bengals. We talk to US Murph about his reaction to watching this unfold on TV and where this awful incident leaves the Play-Off’s.
The 2023 inter-county GAA season began in earnest last night and nothing could stop our man from getting to the side of a football pitch. Murph and his mate travelled deep into the Wicklow Hills to watch friend-of-the-show Oisín McConville’s charges take on the Dubs. Meanwhile All-Ireland Champions Kerry shipped five goals in their defeat to Cork. Crisis in the Kingdom?
