We’ve been marvelling at the impact Evan Ferguson has made as an 18-year-old in the Premier League having made his debut as a 14-year-old in the League Of Ireland, but the whole issue of teenagers playing professional sport has been an issue governing bodies have been wrestling with for years.

The increased professionalisation of youth sports is something both our guests today, Lawrence Donegan and Caitlin Thompson, have experienced – from different ends of the spectrum.  Their experiences in tennis and golf, as well as our own issues with professional football and within the GAA, all get covered.

There’s also Joao Felix’s debut red card for Chelsea last night, and Frances Murphy’s TV guide, with added saw-chat.
